I stayed one night in a Twin Room at Distant Hills. The hosts, Dani and Cameron, made a fantastic impression right from the start. Their warmth and attentiveness are second to none. They took time to chat and share insights about the area, which was really helpful. The room was thoughtfully set up with nice touches. Comfort level exceeded my expectations, especially the beds which were super cozy. Breakfast was a real highlight, perfectly cooked and plentiful. The garden was beautiful, offering a lovely spot to unwind. The only downside was the limited evening dining options nearby. That made planning our dinner a bit tricky, but it didn't overshadow the positive experience I had. All in all, it felt like a perfect place to recharge after a day of exploring the stunning Scottish Highlands.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but honestly I didn’t mind for the quality we got.

The welcome from the owners was heartfelt and genuine, creating an inviting atmosphere right away. Breakfasts were a highlight, especially the freshly prepared pancakes with berries. The rooms were cozy and immaculate, providing a restful retreat. A comfortable living room added to the charm, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. the check-in process could be slightly more flexible, and while the modern décor is appealing, it might not suit all tastes.
